Typically you just add the ingrediance and it makes the doe and then makes the bread.

I have a bread maker and I have to dump the ingredients in and wa-la, shut the lid and about 40 minutes later the ingredients have turned to dough, been kneeded, and baked, the bread is delicious too.

We have a bread maker.

It looks like this. It makes the dough and the bread. However, you can just have it make the dough. There are so many options with ours. I love it. It says that we can make jam too.

I don’t like the bread mixes for bread machines. I find that I get much better results when I add the ingredients myself. Our bread machine came with a recipe book.

One thing that my husband says to do is to make sure the yeast is away from the water. I make a little divet for the yeast to go into, with the flour, etc. It will slow the reaction so the bread doesn’t rise too quickly.

Yes will make the dough and even bake it for you. Great machine to have.

yes, just dump it in and it does all the work. Although I got rid of mine because I gained weight!!

A simple answer is yes.

The machines have various settings you can use, from the simple add all and start to the more complex where you add most ingredients and then add other ingredients as the process advances (like raisins) so those ingredients are not ruined by the initial process.

You can also use setting to make only dough (have it do all the mixing for you) so you can make, say, pizza dough to spread on a pizza pan.

that is the idea..
BUT use caution they are a mess to clean…
and the baked loaf may be ugly
but it does mix your dough and you can shape it as you please to bake in the oven..
Takes up counter space also Or storage space..
